Pada tanggal 30 Agustus 2019, Bayu Taruna Widjaja Putra Ph.D (Kurita AIT Research Grant – KARG Awardee 2017) dari Universitas Jember menerima penghargaan sebagai peneliti terbaik dari Indonesia. Sdr. Bayu terpilih oleh Indonesia – National Selection Committee sebagai peneliti terbaik untuk KARG 2017, sehingga diundang untuk mendapatkan penghargaan dan menyampaikan hasil penelitiannya di Tokyo. Penghargaan diberikan oleh Prof. (Em) M. Suzuki perwakilan dari Kurita Water and Environment Foundation (KWEF). A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a network of spatially distributed autonomous sensors to monitor physical or environmental conditions, such as temperature, sound, air quality, etc. and to cooperatively pass their data through the network to a main location. This workshop will provide an introduction to WSN and into the Arduino platform in particular, through lectures and hands on sessions. It will give participants the opportunity to build their own WSN, to send data using different wireless technologies and to store measurements in online databases.
